Nice photos!! I live near this trail and ride it frequently, I recognize everything but the corncrib, next time I’m on the trail I’m going to look for it!!!!

I’m not familiar with the term corncrib 😊… the trail was amazing, that’s neat you live near it! I was amazed by Des Moines’ trails…they’re gorgeous

They are!! Corncribs are disappearing in Iowa. They are ventilated buildings, usually with slat walls, used for drying whole ears of corn. Now corn is stored off the ear, just the kernals, and are stored in bins.
